Russian coast guard caught pirate trawler
The Russian coast guard has detained a trawler suspected of illegal fishing in the Russian part of the Barents Sea.
The vessel did not have the necessary catch documents, and sailed under a fake name, Rosbaltnord.ru reports with reference to sources in the Murmansk FSB. On board the trawler was more than 100 tons of illegal catch. The detention took place yesterday. The pirate trawler has now been forced to go to Murmansk where it will face charges.
