Russian gas production down 20 percent
Russian gas production fell with 20.2 percent in January-July 2009 compared to numbers from the same period in 2008.
In all 315.9 billion cubic meters of gas were produced, Finam.ru reports. Gazprom had a 24.6 percent decline in gas production in the period.
Russian home consumption of gas fell with 8.9 percent the first seven months of the year.
