Russian students learn business practice in Norway

For the ninth year running Bodø Graduate School of Business invited Russian students to learn about Business practice in Norway. This time the course was arranged in Kirkenes.

30 business and engineering students from St. Petersburg, Murmansk and Arkhangelsk spent one week in the Norwegian border town to study Norwegian experiences in business culture.

The reason for the course being arranged in Kirkenes, was both due to The High North Center for Business and Governance’s and Bodø Graduate School’s close cooperation with The Barents Institute and The Centre of High North Logistics, but also because Kirkenes society is worth studying itself. Bodø University College’s web site reads.

-It represents a case illustrating the opportunities existing for business cooperation in the north. Kirkenes has many firms and institutions with close connections to Russia, whether these may be clients, markets, employees, leadership and investors.
