SAS opens new flights to Finnish Lapland

Scandinavian airline major SAS is to start up regular flights between Stockholm and the town of Kittilä in Finnish Lapland.

The flights will be held twice-weekly in December, SAS subsidiary Blue1 said in a statement today. Kittilä is located close to the popular winter sport facilities in the Finnish North. The area yearly hosts about half a million tourists, most of them coming in connection with Christmas.
