Sea trials to start this spring
The strategic nuclear submarine “Yury Dolgoruky” will start sea trials in the White Sea this spring.
According to Head of the Russian Navy admiral Vladimir Vysotsky, sea trials of Russia’s first Borey-class strategic nuclear submarine “Yury Dolgoruky” will start when the ice in the White Sea breaks up.
- The ice situation around Severodvinsk makes sea trails difficult right now, so the crew and yard workers will continue the preparations of the submarine, Vystosky said.
