Sergey Moiseev for Mayor of Arkhangelsk!
One more Sergey Moiseev has announced his intention to run for the Mayors office in Arkhangelsk. Now there three people named Sergey Moiseev on the list of candidates for the May 25 mayors elections.
A fourth man with the name might soon join the race. According to the Arkhangelsk regional election committee, the third Mr. Moiseev resides in Arkhangelsk, is 50 years old., does not have higher education and works as a bulldozer driver. The two other Moiseevs are a pensioner and a driver respectively. Oddly enough, the most likely candidate for the office, a deputy from the City Council, also named Sergey Moiseev, has not yet declared his intention to take part in the election campaign. The number of candidates with the same name might be seen as part of a political game deliberately orchestrated in order to create confusion among voters, and thus weaken the chances of the strongest of the Moiseevs. For the time being nine people are willing to compete for power in Arkhangelsk.
