Shtokman company gets land rights in Teriberka

The Murmansk regional administration has allotted land areas in Teriberka on the Kola Peninsula coast to the Shtokman Development Company.

Teriberka, now a run-down fishery village located 100 km north-east of the Murmansk city, will be the site for reception and processing of gas from the huge Shtokman field in the Barents Sea. According to B-port.com, the Murmansk regional administration has re-categorized the land in the area for industrial purposes. Today, about 1400 people live in Teriberka. About half of them are without jobs.
