Shtokman underwater complex approved
The Russian Technical Control Agency has approved the underwater production complex of the Shtokman project.
The agency (Rostechnadzor) in a press release confirms that the sub-sea part of the project has been approved. The complex has earlier been approved also by a state environmental evaluation report, MBnews.ru reports.
The sub-sea complex includes both the production units and the connection to the surface vessel, the two pipelines to be connected with project hub of Teriberka, as well as communication technology.
