StatoilHydro signed MOU with Arkhangelsk
Norwegian energy major StatoilHydro has signed a new memorandum of understanding with the Arkhangelsk regional administration.
The agreement was signed by Governor Nikolay Kiselyov and StatoilHydro’s Bengt Li Hansen in Arkhangelsk today. Also Norwegian Ambassador to Russia, Øyvind Nordsletten, was present in the ceremony, the press service of the Arkhangelsk regional administration reports.
The agreement – a follow-up of the two now merged companies Statoil’s and Hydro’s agreements with the Arkhangelsk administration from 2005 – include stress on industrial cooperation, development of supply networks, university cooperation, as well as social and economic projects.
-The MOU is of very big importance for us, Governor Kiselyov said during the signing ceremony.
