Swine flu in border town
Doctors in Kirkenes, Arctic Norway, confirms several cases of swine flu.
Officially, ten people are registered with swine flu in Finnmark, the northernmost county in Norway. However, unofficial figures are far higher. Local health authorities in Kirkenes, the town near the Russian border, confirm that there are local several cases of the flu. They recommend locals to take sanitary precautions and urge infected to stay home, newspaper Sør-Varanger Avis reports.
