Tender for Teriberka camp announced
Shtokman Development has announced a tender for construction and operation of a camp for 200 persons in Teriberka, future location for the LNG plant for the gas from the Shtokman gas field in the Barents Sea.
Both Russian and foreign firms are invited to take part in the tender, a press release from the company reads.
The scope of work includes supply and mobilization of camp facilities for up to 200 persons, with possible extension to 500 persons. The camp should contain equipment rooms, canteen and reception.
The tender also includes operation of the Camp, including all necessary camp services such as catering, room cleaning, laundry, reception services and general camp management.
The camp is to be fully operational by May 2010.
Teriberka will house the Shtokman LNG plant and key parts of the project’s land facilities. It has earlier bee said that about 10000 people are expected to be involved in the development of the project. The permanent field staff is believed to be about 600.
