TGK-1 consolidates control over Murmansk power plant
The Territorial Generating Company No1 (TGK-1) is about to buy another 10 percent of the Murmansk Thermal Power Plant, thus securing 100 percent control over the company.
The TGK-1, one of the biggest electricity producers in Northwest Russia, from before controls 90,24 percent of the Murmansk Thermal Power Plant. The company has now addressed the Federal Financial Market Service for permission to acquire the remaining shares. The Murmansk Thermal Power Plant produces up to 70 percent of heating for the city of Murmansk.
