The best place in Murmansk Oblast
A new study on the social and economic development of municipalities in Murmansk Oblast shows that the Pechenga Rayon is doing best in the region.
The study, which is based on monitoring and analysis by the Murmansk Ministry of Economic Development, shows that the municipalities of Apatity, Kolskii Rayon and Pechenga Rayon have the most positive social and economic development. The three municipalities have positive development dynamics within nine of 11 fields of study, Murman.ru reports. The eleven criteria studied includes demographic development, the consumer market, industrial production, salaries, housing conditions, number of small companies and more. The study is based on figures from 2007.
