United Russia reaches out to Nenets people
The powerful United Russia party has opened its new office in Naryan-Mar, Nenets Autonomous Okrug. –We are ready to respond to any request from the public, office leader Oleg Belak underlines.
The far northern Nenets Autonomous Okrug was the region in Russia where the United Russia had the worst result in last year’s State Duma elections. Then, 48,78 percent of the population gave their support to the government-loyal party. The office opened under the patronage of United Russia leader Vladimir Putin, and will be run with the full support from the regional authorities. -The goal and task of this initiative is simple – to consolidate all the forces of the United Russia party, the executive and legislative powers for work directly with the population, head of the regional legislative assembly Igor Koshin said at the office opening ceremony. –We all have the same goal – to qualitatively improve the life of our fellow inhabitants, he added.
