“Zvezdochka” ship repair yard in Severodvinsk to be privatized
Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has signed a decree on privatization in 2009 of 19 shipyards and ship repair enterprises.
Among the yards is the “Zvezdochka” ship repair yard in Severodvinsk, Portnews.ru reports. The shipyard changed status from a government-owned corporation to a public limited company in 2008.
In St. Petersburg, the Admiralty Yard, the Central Maritime Constructing Bureau “Almaz” and the Central Constructing Bureau for Maritime Technology “Rubin” are all to be privatized.
