Government praised Murmansk
In a cabinet meeting last week, the Russian government praised the budget policy of Murmansk Oblast.
The optimization of expenditures and the more efficient use of budget money conducted by regional authorities in Murmansk Oblast should be an example for all of the country, government ministers said in a cabinet meeting last Friday, a press release from the regional administration reads.
Over the last year, the Murmansk administration has introduced a new budget codification and a new electronic system for state acquisitions, and also improved the regional investment climate, stimulated tax revenues, cut staff and made structural adjustments, the regional administration informs.
Governor Dmitry Dmitriyenko in the government meeting made a presentation of regional policies.
