New State Secretary
The Norwegian Foreign Ministry gets Espen Barth Eide as new State Secretary June 28th.
Espen Barth Eide is well known among the actors in the Norwegian-Russian cooperation.He was State Secretary within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the period 2000-2001.
Since 2005 he has been State Secretary in the Ministry of Defense.
Before entering the government, Barth Eide was working as a researcher in the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs.
