Troms got new Governor
The northern Norwegian county of Troms got Pia Svensgaard as new County Governor.
She was formally elected last Thursday by Troms County parliament.
Ms Pia Svensgaard represents the Labour Party and takes over after Paul Dalhø steps down from the governor position for health reasons, reported by BarentsObserver. ‘
Svensgaard will in the position as governor also become member of the Barents Regional Council.
