Vanhanen to meet Putin
Finland’s Prime Minister Matthi Vanhanen will meet Russia’s Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg on Sunday, October 25ht.
The Prime Ministers will discuss effects of the economic and financial crisis, cooperation in the forest sector and environmental issues, including preparations for the Copenhagen Climate Summit, the Finnish Government writes in a press-release.
Customs and border issues are also on the agenda when the two Prime Ministers meet. Both will participate in the Finnish-Russian Forest Summit in St. Petersburg.
