Arctic Sea crewmen home in Arkhangelsk

11 of the crewmen from the mysterious Arctic Sea voyage arrived Saturday in their hometown Arkhangelsk.

Returning back to Russia after the Russian navy boarded the Arctic Sea, the crewmembers were hold in Moscow for questioning after the vessel’s two-week long disappearance, reports the Associated Press.

Russian TV showed footage Sunday of reunions with relatives at the railway-station in Arkhangelsk.

Russian authorities have charged eight men of different nationalities of hijacked the the Arctic Sea which was on it way from Finland to north Africa with timber.

The disappearance of the vessel has sparked many different speculations that the Arctic Sea could be carrying more than just timber. Nothing else than timber have so far been found on the vessel which is on its way to a Russian port in the Black Sea.
