Higher state of alert in transport sector
Following today’s terrorist attacks in the Moscow Metro, Russian federal authorities are heightening the state of alert in all of Russia’s public transport sector.
Meeting with the country’s top law enforcement and emergency authorities today, President Medvedev ordered a higher state of alert in all of Russia’s public transport sector.
It is believed that perpetrators from the North Caucasus are behind the misdeed, FSB leader Aleksandr Bortnikov told President Medvedev, a transcript from the meeting reads.
