New Norwegian Chief of Defence
Starting from October Harald Sunde will be the new Chief of Defence in Norway.
Lieutenant General Sunde has since early 2009 been the Project Director for establishing the new operational headquarters at Reitan. The new operational headquarter was officially opened by King Harald V last Friday.
At the same time Lieutenant General Bernt Brovold will take over as commander of National Joint Headquarters.
The change in leadership is reported by the website of the Norwegian Defence.
Also, Lieutenant General Kjell Grandhagen takes over the post as chief of the Norwegian military intelligence, reports the Defence’s website.
