Man tested for swine flu in Lapland
A man, who recently returned from New York to Finnish Lapland, is being tested for the dangerous H1N1 virus.
“The patient is a suspected H1N1 carrier. Blood test results will confirm if this is a case of H1N1 or some other influenza,” says Markku Broas, an infectious disease specialist at Lapland central hospital to Finnish broadcaster Yle.
