More Russian tourists to Finland
More than 200 thousand Russian tourists visited Finland in the first six months of 2010. That is up about six percent compared with the same period in 2009.
The peak month for Russian tourism in Finland was May when more than 32 thousand Russians visited the neighboring country, B-port.com reports. In all of 2009, a total of 556 thousand Russian tourists paid a visit to Finland. The northern province of Lapland is among the most popular destinations in the country.
