New law gives parties equal broadcasting time in regions
An amendment in the federal law on political parties, signed by President Dmitry Medvedev on Friday, gives all political parties equal broadcasting time in regional media.
The law will prepare the ground for one TV channel and one radio channel in each region to broadcast exclusively about the political parties, Regnum reports.
