Murmansk is of 11 locations in Russia where Rosatom will by open a centre where people can learn more about nuclear energy.
Secretary of the Public Council for Safe Use of Nuclear Energy in Murmansk Region, Sergey Zhavoronkin, says to MBNews that the Center may serve as a venue for meetings, workshops, training courses. - The goal of this project is not just propaganda but education and enlightenment, Zhavoronkin says.
The centre will cost some 10 million rubles. It is not yet decided where in Murmansk the centre, which will have three employees, will be located.
