Russian Arctic expedition completed
The Russian “Arctica-2008” expedition is completed after more than one month in the Arctic. The expedition members yesterday returned to Arkhangelsk with the research vessel “Akademik Fyodorov”.
The “Akademik Fyodorov” has in the course of the 36 days of the expedition sailed more than 13,000 km. The research results of the expedition are reported to have been more comprehensive than last year’s “Arctica-2007” expedition, Newsru.com reports with reference to Itar-Tass.
