Sweden’s new submarine

Mr. Eric Westerberg from Kalaboda in northern Sweden has built his own private submarine.

The cash-strapped Swedish navy should take a chat with Mr. Eric Westerberg. On his own initiative, he has built himself the “S/S Isabel”, a sub for the Botnia Bay.

-I thought that it would be great to have a submarine, Mr. Westerberg says to NVTV. –I figured out that the only way to try such a vessel, is to build one oneself, he adds

He admits that both designs and technology is based on “his own fantacy”, and says that the vessel works perfectly. –It goes like a shot, he says to NVTV, admitting though that it was difficult the first time to manuever the vessel

He also confirms that he is planning more odd inventions. –Not right away, but in some time I think I will come up with some new striking stuff, the inventor and manager of the Westerberg Smide says.
