Peace and stability in Russian Arctic
The Russian FSB has decided to adopt the US model on security risk assessment. While, parts of the North Caucasus will get the alarming colour red, the northern Russia and the Arctic will be given the peaceful colour green, Rossiiskaya Gazeta reports.
FSB director Nikolay Patrushev yesterday announced that Russia will take use of the same security risk assessment system as the USA, ranging from the colours green, blue, yellow, orange to red. According to newspaper Rossiiskaya Gazeta, the northern parts of Russia will all be categorized green, while the central parts will get blue, and the southern North Caucasian parts will get orange-red.
