Crisis over for Norilsk Nickel
The world’s biggest nickel producer, Norilsk Nickel, the first half of the year had a net profit of 419 million USD.
Norilsk Nickel has its core production in the Taimyr Peninsula and in the Kola Peninsula. The result is far below last year’s result of 2.69 billion USD, but still better than expected, newspaper Vedomosti reports with reference to Reuters.
