Revitalized military cooperation
NATO and Russia agreed on a framework for military-to-military cooperation at their Council meeting in Brussels on Tuesday.
The meeting that continues today is the first in the Military Committee of the NATO-Russian Council since the relations were broken after the Georgian-Russian conflict in August 2008.
Both Russia’s Chief of Defence General Nikolai Makarov and the Chairman of NATO’s Military Committee Admiral Giampaolo Di Paola participated at the session.
