Turkish company to take part in mining on Kola
The Russian chemical giant Akron plans to take a Turkish company in as partner in the development of the Oleny Ruchey apatite-nepheline ore mine on the Kola Peninsula.
According to the newspaper Vecherny MurmanskAkron has invited the Russian State to take part in the project, but so far there are no concrete plans for state participation, Mbnews.ru reports.
The Turkish company Ost Olgun, the biggest trader in Turkey on the market for chemical fertilizers, has signed an agreement on cooperation with Akron, and this company is now probably going to be a partner in the project.
The Oleny Ruchey mine is located near the town of Kirovsk in the central parts of the Kola Peninsula and holds 392 million tons of apatite-nepheline ore.
